My Place Finsbury Park

Over the summer of 2022, My Place recruited and trained 14 young people living and studying in Finsbury Park to find out the needs of their community and help co-create a better future for their neighbourhood. This film documents the work of the My Place Pioneers.

Initiated and supported by Footwork and delivered in partnership with London Development Trust, the local young people (aged 13-18) were trained as researchers, advocates and leaders for the diverse communities they represent. 

My Place connects these young leaders with local Planning decision-makers and supports these new partnerships to co-create solutions to community issues, based around a new development or regeneration area.
