How can we make our places greener and better designed? What are the challenges with leading with nature? How do you spot opportunities and name the benefits, from biodiversity to loving life.

In this recording from the Festival of Place, James Lord, Landscape Architect, HTA Design discusses their new initiative Bringing Nature Home, Rachel Fisher, Deputy Director Land Use Policy, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs discusses the Environment Bill and biodiversity net gain, Roger Madelin CBE, Joint Head of Canada Water, British Land discusses the Canada Water development and Kate Swade, Executive Director, Shared Assets presents the benefits and critical role of parks and public space.

The Festival of Place is a series of events powered by The Developer which brings together enlightened professionals in the built environment working in urban property development and deisgn to explore how to make places worth living in; places where people thrive.

HTA Design is a proud supporter of the Festival of Place. They would like to welcome contributions to Bringing Nature Home from anyone willing to share practical tips, key contact information, campaigns, volunteer activity or inspiring examples of success in creating or enriching biodiversity.
