The next edition of The Developer magazine is now available to order and will be delivered to organisation members and Patreon supporters hot off the press
The latest issue of The Developer magazine heads to the press this week and is available to order.
The issue explores the theme of wellbeing and asks the question: What if wellbeing was the measure and goal of our developments and indeed the economy, encouraging growth in the things that actually matter to people?
Clare Goff digs into wellbeing economics and how this approach is being applied to developments and the renewal of places.
The issue also features a Placetest of Park Hill in Sheffield – residents were interviewed by anthropologist Dr Muriel Lamarque with architecture writer Laura Mark with new photography by John Sturrock.
The magazine also features articles on play sufficiency, toxic towns, Hull’s East Bank development and public art to foster belonging at Regent’s Park Estate’s Story Trail. The issue also includes a special supplement featuring all the shortlisted and winning projects from The Pineapples awards for place.
Organisation members and Patreon supporters will be receiving the magazine in the coming weeks with single issues available to purchase.
The Developer publishes its "uncommonly beautiful" magazine twice per year which includes photojournalism, research and articles on strategies and places undergoing urban renewal and redevelopment. Its ambition is to inspire and educate professionals about how to create places worth living in, where people thrive.
