The Developer hosted an online Festival of Place Bytesize event in association with U+I Think and London 3.0 with Kwame Kwei-Armah on London 3.0: how London should evolve in a constantly changing world on 1 July from 16:00-17:30 via Zoom. You can watch a video of his talk here.

 

Kwame Kwei-Armah is an acclaimed actor, playwright, director, broadcaster, critic, political activist and Artistic Director of the Young Vic. Born and Raised in Southall, he is a Londoner through and through, and other than a hugely successful seven year stint running Baltimore Center Stage, his life and career have been intrinsically enmeshed with London, and he cares passionately about the future of his city.

 

Kwei-Armah shares his perspective on the future of the capital, followed by a conversation with Patricia Brown, founder of London 3.0 and Director of Central and introduced by Emily Annable, Head of Communications, U+I.

 

London 3.0 is an ongoing initiative exploring the future of London and seeking new solutions and leadership that respond to our time, challenges and values.
