The redevelopment should provide an increase in the number of homes on each site [Deadline 20 May 2026]
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group is seeking an experienced architectural practice to redevelop residential sites at Birch, Edwards and Frank Price Courts in Wythenshawe.
The delivery is part of the Wythenshawe Regeneration programme taking place in partnership with Muse.
Birch and Edwards courts are part of four eight-storey blocks built for elderly people in 1967 and the plans will see the structures demolished and replaced with a higher concentration of homes.
The redevelopment should integrate with the wider regeneration which sees the adjacent Civic Centre returned to the heart of the community.
Up to 4 suppliers will be shortlisted from the Procurement Specific Questionnaire to progress to the submission of a design and methodology proposals on this tender for home redevelopment.
Elsewhere, the search is on for architects to deliver 400 new affordable homes across three key sites: Alpha House, Brotherton House, C2 The Birtles.
