Cyngor Gwynedd seeks land for affordable housing

Cyngor Gwynedd seeks tenders for the provision of scoping land for new build affordable housing as part of the Tŷ Gwynedd scheme.

The scheme is aimed at people looking to buy or rent a home but do not qualify for social housing.

The proposed sites should be suitable for a mix of 2-, 3-or 4-bedroom properties at 3 to 15 units per site.

Each of the properties are required to meet four requirements and standards set out by the Welsh Government including the Welsh Development Quality Requirements 2021; Maintaining and Improving social housing in Wales (WHQS); Creating Beautiful Homes and Places (WDQR 2021) and Welsh Housing Quality Standards 2023 which include new targets to address decarbonisation and water efficiency.
